There are multiple threads on this in the "issues" forum with video. Some are them are astonishingly, unacceptably loud.Does anyone have a video of this supposed squealing? Sounds like it was just a little wet...
I am going to role down the window and pay attention to that when I leave work today.pp here, squeals when turning left slowly and no brakes are on. it's not obnoxious but it only does it turning left slowly. 1400 miles
Exactly. Do a 70mph hard stop...and stop babying your performance cars!Has any one with the squeaking tried to bed the brakes? I know that my track pads squeal like crazy on the street, but once I get them bedded on the track the squealing goes away for a while - until the street diving scrapers the bedding away. Maybe bedding the pads would help.

Other than a track, where can you possibly do a 70 mph hard stop? Slamming on your brakes on the highway for no reason is frowned upon.Exactly. Do a 70mph hard stop...and stop babying your performance cars!
No, no, these squeals people have been having (and I've had once or twice) aren't "need the window open to hear it" loud. They're "completely overwhelm the sound system even when it's maximum volume" loud.I am going to role down the window and pay attention to that when I leave work today.
no it's not like that for everyone. I have to be off the throttle, radio off, turning left, off the brake, rolling slowly to hear it.No, no, these squeals people have been having (and I've had once or twice) aren't "need the window open to hear it" loud. Then you're not having excessive brake squeal. Although, of course, there shouldn't be any brake squeal if you're not touching the brakes, so I suppose that could technically be considered "excessive," but that's more likely an actual problem with your brake pads being improperly seated or improperly installed.no it's not like that for everyone.
