So yesterday while just cruising on the highway with cruise control enabled up popped "Brake System Warning" on the center screen. Press OK and the park brake light on the dash stays on. All brake functions seem fine... After turning the engine off and restarting, the center warning popped up again, press OK and it went away and did not return. Drove around for about 15 minutes in stop and go with no issues, no lights.
Today, same thing. After cruising @ 75mph for about 15 minutes it comes on again... Parked and check everything out, no problems. Go for an hour drive with some rather spirited driving, some heavy braking, not a single issue, no lights.
Park, have lunch, get back on the highway and the damn warning comes on again when just cruising at a steady speed, 70ish.
Brake fluid is good, brakes feel fine, e-brake works fine... The only recent change to the car was adding a nitrous plate setup, but I don't see how that could have remotely impacted the brakes.... Any ideas on quick things to look for before I take it to the dealer?
