I hate my car came with the continental 4 pistons brake calipers. All my buddies cars (Bullit, gt350 and Mach 1) came with the Brembo 6 pistons brake calipers. I know all of their cars are high end mustangs compared to mine. So my question is how hard of a conversion job and expense will this be? Here’s a couple of pics of all of our cars together.

It's not very hard at all, and if you haven't ever modded your car, and have a basic socket/wrench toolset, you can do it.

1 - Jack the car up.
2 - Remove lugs, wheels.
3 - Remove 2 caliper bolts, remove caliper
4 - Remove Brake rotor
5 - Remove 3 bolts for dust shield
6 - (Optional) Install new super tiny dust shield
7 - Slide new big Brake rotor on
8 - Get plastic bucket underneath you, remove banjo bolt and washer from old caliper, install washer, banjo bolt to new caliper.
9 - Slide caliper over rotor, bolt caliper to bracket.
10 - Repeat on other side.
11 - Have friend help you bleed brakes, torque things down.
12 - Wheels and Tires back on, find a safe place to bed the brakes in.

Honest, that easy.

You can save even more money if you do your own research and find the part numbers to the brake calipers, and order them and the rotors individually, could assemble on eBay for probably $600. No need for the fancy/schmancy drilled or slotted rotors, as the blanks work perfectly fine.

edit - Your profile says you have the Performance Pack, where the 15" 6 Piston Brembo is pretty much the entire reason for getting the package. If you do have a Performance Pack, the Bullitt and Mach1 have the same brakes as you do, I believe the Bullitt is just simply painted red, where the aftermarket ones are I believe grey. The GT350 has a larger 15.5" brake that cannot fit under any 18" wheels, and the GT500 goes even bigger.

Yes my car has the performance package. It originally came with Brembo's however the last owner sold the exhaust, Brembo's brakes and rotors, the intake and CAI from the car. I guess he was young, irresponsible and needed money. Its a shame but his loss my gain. looks like he added parts from a local parts car and then traded it it. This is probably why I was able to get the car at such a discounted price. So far I've taken my time restored everything back to the car that he removed except the brakes. I also now have GT350 OEM 19 inch wheels that will accommodate the brembos. After this i will be adding a GT350 or GT500 front bumper cover and then I am done.
