uh.....tuning just isn't that hard.....if there are tunes out there that suck it isn't because lund are magicians, its because those tuners suck.

vct isn't magic either.

i find it very interesting how the modern mustang community views a "tune." yes, I calibrate performance oriented vehicles in my area that need it but purely by word of mouth or referral.....it doesn't take "ungodly amounts of man hours" to dial in a tune.

i mean, I also have a marketing degree and understand "puffery" but come on man.

This dude gets it. A+

Obviously, you have never been YDB tuned.

well i got a revision from lund. settled on the rev limiter to 7800. Car feels strong and really smooth up top. Still dont have a local dynojet available any time soon.

Did you feel the loss of tq down low? Does it keep pulling hard like in the mid range from up top?

With the 3.73 I never noticed the low end tq loss in the first place. Yes it pulls hard throughout the band. Ill try and get on the waiting list for the dyno.

I think I'm going to go this route too and cut the hood. Edelbrock costs too much and doesn't make power as high. Did you notice any difference removing the strut bar? I don't think it probably does much.

That's what I was thinking. Dumping the strut brace and maybe adding the steeda if it'll clear the headers.

Yeah the edelbrock was quite a bit more expensive than I was hoping, so the boss intake still might be a viable route, I would see if I could keep my strut tower brace tho with using some lowering engine mounts

I still don't think it clears even with the mounts.

nope, i dont even think it will be close. I tried to lay mine down over the top just to see how much it would have to drop, and it looked like much more than 3/4" more like an inch and a half or so.
