Yes.... The Borla Resonator came in on Tuesday (by UPS). I had it installed this morning. However, I kept the X-pipe.... Just in case.
The result: huge difference especially on cold start @ high idle.... Much more quieter. However, when you "hit it", you still get a much better sounding exhaust than stock. For long rides... it is a perfect combination.

Mark, did you get yours?

Forgive me if I asked but I couldn't find if you have headers? Glad to hear it was an easy fit and how it changed the sound. The shop I'm using just said it should be in earlier today and didn't hear after that but I don't have time to install until the 24th. I'm getting a bunch of Steeda stuff at the same time.

I have the ford racing x pipe...borla touring axile back ...for me it is perfect. Mellow until you get on it....then it sounds off! Just went up to Reno for hot August nights. Wonderful tone...always there....no drone...just sounds like a muscle car! Wouldn't change a thing...just right

I had the Roush AB and really like the sound. My stock resonator went bad though and started to rattle. Ford wouldn't fix it under warranty though since I had cutoff the stock mufflers. I tried an H pipe with the Roush and that did fix the rattle, but HOLY HELL that was a loud setup. I just installed the Borla Touring cat back today and am very happy, I'm sure the neighbors are too.

Well mine should be ready for pickup in a couple of hours! Ready to see how it sounds with headers. Wow this is quiet... Feels like I went back to stock. Have to start looking at more options again.

I’m interested in this setup. I want something that’s not too loud for a DD but I’m not sure about the rasp of the Ford Racing Touring system. I like a smoother deep wooshy tone. Maybe that’s a S type or Borla touring??
the borla touring has a very nice sound, we have them in stock, let me know if we can help out

the mag street is a good choice too, also in stock

Did you consider just buying the Borla resonator and hooking it up to the Roush axleback?

I thought about that. Just with not knowing how that would sound decided to do the full cat back. That probably is a good option though for other people that are in the same situation as I was and don't want an X or H pipe.

Basically wanting a volume level similar or a bit louder to the FRPP catback with catted headers but without the rasp. Wondering how Borla muffler with roush axle back would compare to the x-pipe touring. Or any other axlebacks with that combo. Couldn't believe how much the Borla pipe quieted everything down but the tone is perfect.
