Really interesting.

It’s really perfect example effects of dry air , and how water injection can benefit NA engines not just boosted.

I’d love to see port injection water/meth on NA coyote to see if you could gain that 2 or 3 degree’s back…maybe more.
I tried this and eventually gave up, but I think I stopped to early, I'm fairly sure that its possible to get a few degrees with WMI on an NA motor.

Starts at this post, I gave up because I blew my stock cats and (incorrectly) assumed that it was from the methanol. I realize now it was from the burbles I was running. I thought I was safe because they were coped from the bullitt tune, but that wasn't true.

I was very inexperienced at the time, the build wasn't great, and I didn't know how to tune.

I plan to try again eventually, because it did work. There were more than a few times where I hit MBT on gasoline with WMI enabled. It needs polishing and refinement, but its not that crazy of an idea.

The issue I had was that in order to quiet knock down I needed to inject a lot of water, to the point where the motor misfired. The motor would misfire before it fully stopped knocking. I suspect that changing the sprayer pattern or location could help this.
