Nitto 555 never disappointed me as well.Yeah don't care much about the rain, never take the car out unless its dry. I only care about being able to hook. Seems like the 555R2s will be a good choice from what everyone has said so far!
Dayum. That looks great! Here are some 345 30 19 fitment pics
would love to see a shot from the rear, down low, so we can see the meat!!!11.5 in wide rears. Don't know the offset just ordered the 19x10 front and 19x11.5 rears from project 6gr. Had to wait 4 months for the wheels early last year. Love the look. I haven't beat on them yet but a few pulls I did seemed to be a big improvement from the 305 35 r19 nto5rs that were on the same rims before. When I saw the tire guy roll out my tire to pick them up I knew instantly that the 1000$ was well spent.
This is all I have for now. I'll try and get some pics from behind with the wheels on the ground tomorrow, if it doesn't rain that iswould love to see a shot from the rear, down low, so we can see the meat!!!
If you aren't going out in the rain anyway I had no trouble hooking with the ET Street SS in 2nd gear at 40 with a whipple on e85. Nothing against nitto just because I'd consider those if I get caught in rain, which in Houston is likely. I do think the MT alternative is way more expensive tho. just my 2 cents.Yeah don't care much about the rain, never take the car out unless its dry. I only care about being able to hook. In order for them to fit in the wheel well the alignment has to be off. I bet they wear out fast on the insideThis is all I have for now. I'll try and get some pics from behind with the wheels on the ground tomorrow, if it doesn't rain that is
All s550s come with around 2 degrees of negative camber, its just more noticeable with wider tires. I will be installing longer adjustable camber arms in the near future, if anything fixing the negative camber will help the tire clearance even more, the only thing even close to touching is the shock mounts, if I go to zero camber static then it would give me more clearance. My last tires (nto5r 305'S) the inside tread was a 1 and the outside was a 2-2 1/2 32nds. So yes the tires wear faster on the inside, but it will be fixed soon the car isn't going to be driven until a built ben calimer trans goes inIn order for them to fit in the wheel well the alignment has to be off. It would be more of an issue if he was on 20s.In order for them to fit in the wheel well the alignment has to be off. I bet they wear out fast on the inside
