Is the reverse lock out aluminum on this part? Or is it Delrin or similar?

Short shifter looks good!

It's a really nice part -- the prettiest of it gets covered up, unfortunately -- but the Delrin is a premium, authentic piece -- not metal, but it's nice -- you can see the tool marks on it, and it feels good. It's probably better from a temperature management standpoint than a metal piece. It would be super cool if Anarchy Motive did a Delrin-coated knob, or if Boomba offered a heavier knob. It would be cool to see a video of the Delrin piece being made...

I wanted to powder coat it to match my shift knob if I got this. That's why I was hoping it was aluminum.

gotcha -- not sure what you'd need to do -- I know Delrin can be painted with something -- those Dunlop guitar picks (I prefer the .71mm ones) have some paint on them -- not sure the type though. I think the Boomba piece is polished after machining -- then engraved afterwards. Maybe Boomba can tell you what do -- or maybe they can send you one that's not polished out to take the powder coat?

The switch has been made on our end; all future purchases feature a low profile zip tie!

Thanks to AV80R for helping out with all that you have so far!
Any chance you guys sell them? The zip tie I have from before is terrible. Or if you know what kind to look for at home depot?

PM me with your name and address and I'll send you some for free. Put zip ties in the subject.

I installed mine this afternoon. I'm a believer! It's definitely worth the cost and about 20 minutes of your time.
