So, I took delivery of my '16 GT PP on 11/3. After a month's worth of not so secretly stacking up goodies, I came clean with the wife-unit and explained my plans to completely violate my brand new car. NOTE: Winning this battle was by far the most difficult step of the install process.

After the dust settled from a full weekend of knuckle busting, cursing, and questioning my sanity I can say that the transformation was a huge success.

Overall, this setup improved almost every aspect of a car that was great to begin with. The only downside so far is the fact that this car has an attitude problem now ... although most would argue that's a good thing.

Also, credit where it's due ... Livernois Motorsports wins the gold star for customer service hands down. In the era of the interwebs, it's not often you find actual humans who are truly a pleasure to deal with and go above and beyond to help work through issues.

Did you really have to convince your wife to let you put a cold air intake on the car?

Like the mods?

Love the mods ... and yes, I had to convince the wife that it wouldn't ruin the car forever.

Crap my wife doesn't even know the Steeda CAI is on it's way. She will once it's installed. With mods I just do them without asking while begging forgiveness later.:eyebulge:

Yes and it gets easier as you get older but the cost goes up as we
exchange for some glittery gems and soft metals.
Yeah, I heard something like that when I bought the mustang. I'm sure it'll rear it's ugly head again when she finds out about the CAI.

Just wait until she's at work or out of town. At least that's my strategerie! :D
She went out of town for a half marathon and I installed lowering springs. She's been parking next to it for two weeks now and is completely oblivious to the fact that it sits lower now. ;)

LOL I'm lucky my wife actually encourages me to mod my cars and make them cooler. Glad you won the battle!
