Hmm... Not sure, the BCM does handle Keyless entry functions though. I could verify the correct part number when I go back to work on Tuesday, just to be sure.

Thanks, this module has been a pain to find on their sites. I'm going to call my contact at ford tomorrow as well, he may be able to verify it.

Yes thats the correct one. Full part number is FR3Z-15604-B

Yeah, Tasca was able to confirm this as well. Unfortunately, they cannot currently get the part, so I'm going through my local dealer. This should be the cure to my issues if all goes well.

I'm hoping the steering rack is not actually fried, and the comm's are the only issue. That would allow me to return this 1100 dollar paper weight.

The Body Control Module (BCM) does not control communication between any modules. All modules communicate with each other independently on the CAN bus. Therefore, if the ABS Module is not communicating, the BCM is not at fault.

You need to get the IDS and do a network test. This will show which modules will pass or fail. It will show both Standard and Optional modules in the results. All Standard modules should pass, and the optional ones that your vehicle is equipped with should pass also. However, if your vehicle is not equipped with a certain module, it will always indicate "Fail", which is normal. For example, if your car doesn't have a heated steering wheel, the Heated Steering Wheel Module (HSWM) will always show fail.

Thanks for the help. We seem to have it just about wrapped up now. The only module that's still failing is the ABS ECU module. New one should arrive Monday.

Replaced so far:

ABS HCU
BCM
SRS
Steering Rack

Okay, so I'm a little over 6k into this repair, and we've made absolutely no progress. The only code i'm getting is that of the rear ABS sensors, which continue to read 0 rpm. However, I am getting fault lights for the SRS, TPMS, TC, ABS, BRAKE, and Sway Control.

The car runs and drives fine. The system even switches to the front ABS sensor feedback once I hit 20 mph after the initial start. However, my ABS, TC, and streering (mode selection is defaulted to stiffest setting) are not working properly.

Replaced so far:

ABS HCU (twice)
BCM mod
SRS mod
ABS ECU
PCM
Rear ABS sensors (twice)

I'm at a loss (as is Ford) on where to go from here. I wish they would give me access to the diagnostic equipment, and let me troubleshoot myself. But, that won't happen...

Any ideas??
