Body Control Module Removal

Hello all,

I am in the middle of trying to remove my body control module and need some help. Long story short, my dealership put foam padding behind it to fix a rattle that actually turned out to be in my door. The padding is now creating a loose gap where I can audibly hear buzzing over minor road irregularities. I removed all the wiring and there seems to be only one screw (at the very bottom) holding the bracket into place. Does the whole BCM module pop off with the removal of this screw or is it clipped in along the edges? Thanks in advance.

I just did this the other day. Tilt the bottom out about 25° and pull till the two tabs at the top release from their slots. Not a comfortable position to be working from.

Does the body control module handle the functions of the center console and rear tail lights, woke up today to find those functions not working, hooked it up to a scanner and it was reporting no communication with it, but I'm not sure if it's bcm1 or bcm-2. Anyone experience this ?
