No luck. Dealers love to downplay these issues so it'll never get resolved.
  2. Kick panel area rattle

Well, the ticking came back this morning. The window ticking is gone, but there's something still coming from the kick panel area. I give up at this point. I already did the following: resecure the clips on the rocker panel insulate the door panel check the fender liner for debris pad the BCM area

  4. Kick panel area rattle

PROBLEM SOLVED! I wound up pulling the door apart this over the weekend to see if there was anything loose/unsecured. There are two alligator clamp pieces that are located on the metal body panel. The first one is located behind the door latch and the second one is located behind the window...
  5. Kick panel area rattle

Thanks! I'm also adding the window to my potential suspect list. Could me me, but the sound goes away when the window is rolled down 1/4 of the way.
  6. Kick panel area rattle

I wouldn't quite describe it as that. It's more of a ticking sound coming from the bottom area of the door (closer to the kick panel). I already tore apart my door and soundproofed it. It's definitely an exterior noise.
  7. Kick panel area rattle

The noise is back in full force today. Bump for some help! I already checked my rocker panel for loose pins. Everything seems to be secured. The sound is definitely coming from the outside.
  8. Body Control Module Removal

Hello all, I am in the middle of trying to remove my body control module and need some help. Long story short, my dealership put foam padding behind it to fix a rattle that actually turned out to be in my door. The padding is now creating a loose gap where I can audibly hear buzzing over minor...
  9. Issues with 2017 GT?

The bbq tick seems to affect the direct injected engines (18 and up). The 15 to 17 models have known driveshaft issues. My 16 would shake and make a howling noise at around 70mph. It's hard to miss. No issues to report on 18...yet.
  10. Kick panel area rattle

Whatever it is, I'm thinking it may be temperature related. I don't hear it early in the morning when I'm driving to work, but I will hear it on my way home. I keep my car in the garage overnight and it sits out in an open lot when I'm at work. The dealer dissembled the body control module...
  11. Kick panel area rattle

You described my problem better than I could. The sound comes and goes which makes the dealer's ability to find it even harder. I have been to the dealer no lie roughly 5-6 problems for this issue. I've had my passenger side door molding replaced and side rocker refastened with no luck. If your...
  12. Kick panel area rattle

    That's not it either :crying:
  13. Kick panel area rattle

Thanks for the input, but I am certain it is not the seat. I'm going to check the heat shield on the passenger side this weekend. If that's not it, I'm baffled.
  14. Kick panel area rattle

Well, the sound returned on my way home today. I'm still convinced the BCM area is the issue. I guess this is going to be a very long game of trial and error.
  15. Kick panel area rattle

I opened up the kick panel today and unclipped some of the fuses from their plastic harnesses. I think the brackets on the larger fuses (not the BCM itself) are the issue. So far so issues, but I'm sure I'll hear the sound again.
  16. Kick panel area rattle

    ..............
  17. this anybodys lemon buy back for sale?

Probably has the engine rattle issue. I'd stay away.
  18. Possible differential noise?

I had this issue. Unfortunately, the dealerships all were saying that same thing (car operating normally). The issue is the ring and pinion is not setup properly in the differential.
  19. Metallic ticking sound coming from C Pillar

Just to update everyone, the ticking noise was coming from the package tray in the trunk. I was told they adjusted the seams which caused the noise to cease. I asked where exactly the tray is and I was told it's near the rear speakers. So far no issues.
