Watsons rear kit removes 170 on its own. Their tubular front suspension removes 30 on its own. 200lbs without gutting the car is alot. Im sure it they lost a lot more than 400lbs but lets be honest that whipple kit is stupid heavy. Isnt it well over 100lbs?

I'll never understand why people are so attracted to blowers. NA or turbos are the way to go.

I can see how some like them. Personally if i was going to run any blower it'd be a a large centri likw a ysi-b or f-1a94 or f1x. Ive never personally bought a pd blower. Two cars ive had came with them (04 cobra and 14 gt500)but one was swapped for turbo and the other i didnt keep long enough to do much expect max out the stock blower and run 9s. Turbos are my choice of poison

It all depends on what you want.

Its no different than my boss telling me "I don't see why you Ford guys like those small cube dohc engines, showing off your hp per cubic inch doesn't win races"

He's right. Our 16 Camaros destroy our S550s...but I prefer my S550s. Lol

My Paxton kit weighs over 100lbs som I'm sure that big roots blower is heavier.

Kelly are you doing this on the VMP unit or did you make a change? I was showing dad your slip kinda rubbing it in lol. He thinks i should buy a whole car for the price of a s550 blower, but its like i told him i do enjoy some AC:cheers:

He has a 2010 Camaro....with a TVS, Meth and Nitrous....that is turned into a racecar - and it is barely as fast as my S550 100% Streetcar. HAHA!

He has 416CI....I have 302. He is also 400lbs lighter....and has 15" wheels. :ford:

I am referring to mostly stock and mild modded cars though. Once you start highly modding, it's all about money and determination.

He does have an Naturally Aspirated Corvette with a GForce manual trans that runs 8.0s@170 though. :eyebulge:

VMP Stage 3 Kit with 8-rib Conversion. The first 1.2 sixty I went...was with mostly all stock stuff except for rods and pistons. Stock headers, Stock Trans, Stock Converter, Stock IRS with FRPP Halfshafts - basically just that, BMR Suspension and spinning the TVS hard with a home built Aluminator on E85 :headbang:

There are "sayers" and there are "doers"

At BMR we get our customer's cars working as effectively as possible so they can reach their goals - and many of these goals are wins and record setting passes. ;)

Congrats to Joe Holt with his recent wins over the weekend. Joe relies on an LPF Twin Turbo Kit, a built engine and 6R80 Trans, a full BMR Suspension that has been aligned to and set to BMR specs - and fine tuning by Ken@Palm Beach Dyno.

To my knowledge, this is the fastest an S550 has been with a 6R80 transmission.
