Not a 1.2 yet...but getting there! Sheldon Lewis runs our 1.2 recipe on the first post with the CB005 and we're looking for 7 second ETs soon! I suspect this car will be a little quicker come Wednesday. ;)

When people want to go fast and set records they look no further than BMR Suspension :headbang:

No-Prep race winning "Toro" putting work in with our 1.2 sixty package!

This car hasn't gone 1.2's yet, but it has been bottom 1.3s at No-Prep events.

Hoping to have some updated times on prepped surface soon!

So when our cars squat (stick car) during the launch but rebound very quickly (like a bounce) what is causing this? Is the springs just overpowering the shocks?

Example:
This is me with about 12psi air pressure in a set of bias ply ET Street R tires. Stock springs, stock PP shocks (rear). Stock front GT suspension. See sig for the rest of my mods.

Thanks Kelly! No rush, I know you have other things to worry about like: downed power lines, fresh water, hot elderly people...

Car is a KB 3.2 and making about 950-1000 rwhp .
It weighs about 3900 with me in it .
The fronts are Koni's set to full loose .
I had the initial setting at 6C 8R and it did okay but started to spin when I went from a 28 inch to a 26 tire .
Still cut a 1.54.
I adjusted them to 5C and 15 R ....but it was all spin with no chance of hook even with ET R bias ply psi down to 14 psi .
It squats to the point of rim being on the ground so I increased the compression to 8 and decreased rebound to 8.
It worked a bit better with the 1.57 but loses traction on1-2 shift and start to head to the right .
Transmission is Magnum swap -2.66 first and 3.31 rear end .

I am building a 4.10 pumpkin to swap in but was hoping I could make the 26 inch tire work before then.
I have a 28 inch tire that did okay but bogged with 1.6 range 60' ft before I had the 2 step
I am leaving off a 2 step and started at 5500 but still spins at 4500.
I think it will bog any lower .

I have given up on trying to make the 26 inch tire work .
My 4.10 rear end is still not ready but going back to a 28 inch tire.
Hoping since I now have a 2 step and leaving in boost I can get the 50
Ft down .

You need a 28" tall bias ply rear tire.

You also need to sell those Warriors off and get some Crusaders.

The compression is the same, the extension valving is different.

Konis full loose, Crusaders at 9C/14R and launch at 4500RPM with the 28's at 13.5 psi.

Get back with me after that
