I think both V6 and EB used the dual mass flywheel. :faint:

Haven't yet found data on the GT.

I've seen photos of the GTs flywheel in a couple of clutch smoked threads here, and it looks nothing like that dual mass flywheel in the YouTube video.

Well the shop called, its going to be covered, they said its the clutch...but they havnt taken it apart yet. Id be willing to bet lots of money its the fly wheel. I tried to explain my point, but they tgink in a idiot..."those dont often break" and normally it would be leaking fluid because they have a fluid damper"....umm....im not a ford certified mechanic and im prettt sure theres just springs in there. Boy i cant wait till they call me and tell me i was right lol

They said its the clutch because it wont engage...im like oh..its engarged but the flywheel is just soinning away in there. Ahh i love beeing right lol. Ive been working in cars for a long time and have a great understanding for how things work. Tgis is litterally the first time in my life somebody has worked on any of my cars....also the first time ive broken one enough to leave me on the side of the road lol. Once i high school i blew up the diff in my 68 cougar at the drag races....but i drove it home...freaking out the whole time, waiting for a chunk of gear tooth to get caught in tye ring and pinion and lock it up haha

:headbonk::headbonk::headbonk::paddle::paddle:well, I hate being right sometimes. I tried more than once to get these guys to understand that I felt the flywheel was broke. but ohhh no....couldn't possibly be that. look, I know nobody enjoys having somebody else tell them they are wrong about their job, but sometimes....just sometimes those people are right. got a call from the dealer...today, almost 2 weeks since the car arrived, they finally got the car apart...and lo and behold the flywheel is broke. so they put a rush order on one, and might be here tomorrow, but more than likely Monday. thanks....thanks a lot. now it eally only hurts them, as its taking up dead space in 1 of 3 stalls, and they wont be able to make any money in that bay for a few days. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr:frusty::frusty::headbonk::headbonk::rant:

because they are a small dealership....and only have a few bays.....but, they literally waited a week before they even looked at it...which is like...really....you waited a week to look at it for 5 minutes? the whole thing has been pretty upsetting. this is why I wanted to swallow the $800 and do a spec flywheel and clutch...I could have had it done in a day, and had a assembly that wont break.

maybe its best to warranty it the first time and if it breaks again, then do the spec flywheel.
