Black top paint code

As I suspected, nope, no paint code for the roof.

Its the same color as the wing. Many names, same paint code, shadow black, etc. It has a blue/purple flake if you were to take a high power led flashlight to it.

This is correct. My Ford (U.K.) dealer couldn’t even give me the code.

People will tell you it’s pure / solid black, but photo it with the specific lighting from certain angles :

Im not sure if the touch up paint has the flakes in it. That paint code on the pen shares with ebony black. Ebony black has no flake. The paint I bought from the auto paint shop and had mixed and put in a rattle can had the flakes. I used it to paint a GT500 tow hook cover on the front bumper.

I hear ya Tom. It seems their touch up shares a few names & codes. If very sm. chip perhaps, but sometimes just a 'black' is not going to be good enough. IDK .....

Yea, I wasnt necessarily quoting you per se, but the touch up paint is a one size fits all to take care of small scrapes, etc. The paint on the R wing and the roof has a bluish/purple flake to it. that was all I was trying to get across.
