Yah that does look good. If I get Ingot or Magnetic, I'm getting the 3M wrap for the roof (and maybe the mirrors also).

Damn that looks great!
I was skeptical about wrapping it but I stand corrected. :headbang::coolphotos::clap2:

Well, here is mine. I got it done this morning. I made the right choice by wrapping the roof instead of getting it painted. The process took about an hour and a half. They also covered the antenna with no loss of signal for the GPS or reception for the radio. BTW, the vinyl is a 3M product.
That looks Great, especially with the antenna done too!

I think that the wrap is better than painting it because if you get tired of it, you just peel off the wrap. Surprisingly enough, if installed correctly, the wrap is some pretty tough stuff!

Wow looks great on the white. Really curious to see how it'd look on ingot now as well...if someone has decided to do it . :)

If you could get it painted for $400, would you have painted it?
I thought about it hard because the paint cost wasn't too far off from $400. At the end, I just did not want to paint my new car. Except for a few mods, i want it looking as original as possible. The wrap allows me to take it off when i get tired of it. Its just a personal choice, that's all. Hope this helps.

Thanks! I am very happy with it and the car looks great. The guys that installed it did a great job. No complaints from me.

I think I'm going to do this on my magnetic. Gloss or matte? I'm thinking matte pieces to match the trim panels in lieu of the glass.
Gloss goes better with tinted glass and blends together. Matte finishes work better on other accent pieces.

Hi Draco, the gloss black looks amazing - I am getting TY with PP and I think you've convinced me to this to my roof.
Mind posting snaps from other angles and distance?
Did they wrap the antenna or paint it?

Magnetic 2.3L/T, this will be the 1st or 2nd mod done to the car, just depends on which one is available for completion earliest.

I'm curious as to whether or not a gloss black roof would look good on the Magnetic...would it be noticeable? My tint is at 5% on the rear windshield and the small useless windows so I guess it would contrast with the paint enough...not sure though. Would like to see it to be sure.
