Hello guys, I am new to GT350 and manual transmission as well. Just bought a new GT350 and it has 1150 miles right now. One thing I am concerned about is the clutch pedal bite point, and I feel like the bite point is higher than before. Is this something possible? Or could I be biased? Should I take in to the dealership for the inspection?Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks!

When you say higher than before, do you mean it is higher than when you first got it?

Yes. I am fairly new to manual as my experience with manual is only 1150 miles, but I kinda feel that I need to release clutch more than when I first got the vehicle to get bite point.

I haven't had a car with a standard transmission that felt that way, except maybe when my seat was adjusted to something unfamiliar. I don't suppose it could be something as simple as your seat being just a notch out of its usual place? That's all it would take for me to notice a difference anyway.

I just installed the Steeda spring myself. Clutch engagement is far more linear and predictable. When you pull the old spring setup you'll understand why. No more bogging down on takeoff because I'm not certain where the clutch will engage.

On a fun note the old one broke into pieces when removed and I literally could not find the top plastic piece. It had popped up into the dash cover above the brake. Drove me nuts for 10 minutes looking all over for it.

The hydraulic clutch system may have some air in it. If it keeps changing I would have the dealer look at it.
