Just ordered the trans/diff combo kit from Optimum Performance. Hopefully some stickers "accidentally" fall into the box.

Thank you all for the continued support. Again it seems like there are variances in the transmissions on how they respond. Some have a greater improvement than others. We have been wondering about the tolerance of the factory shifters effect this. What I mean is basically what side of the hole was the nut tightened down on, was it to the left or the right type of tolerances, because its mounted to the body, to the transmission so in effect you could loosen up the transmission cross member bolts, and shifter body bolts and push them to one side or the other, tighten them and maybe have a different result in how it shifts. Internally I'm not sure on the parts.

It is formulated to work in cold temps like say an ATF would but we are wondering how the tolerances stack up on certain cars and when warm everything lines up or grows to the proper size. The other open question is the additive that is used on the factory fill to aid syncro break-in. Do all of them get the same, is it pre-mixed in a big tank and filled or added as a separate step. Does every one get the same amount. If it is pre-mixed does it stay suspended in the the fluid or settle out. Lots of questions for lots of variables.

Wow, that was pretty quick. My combo pack is expected to be here this Thursday. Not like I'm in a hurry for it, there's snow on the ground here and this morning it was 8 degrees with a windchill of -10 degrees. I have all winter to make the switch.

This MT82 in my 2016 is much worse than my 2013. I even changed out the bushings, that helped a lot with the 13' . I'll give this stuff a try, my 1-2 shifts in this weather are terrible. Worse than my 2013 ever was

Your order came in while I was at Daytona, so it missed shipping on Saturday.

My 1-2 has never been peachy when it's this cold, so I skip shift till the trans is a little warm. That said, the BG makes everything other shift much, much better from stone cold.

Edit: and now that it's over 40 deg again, 1-2 is good after about 30 seconds of driving, and the rest is buttery smooth right away. Tolerances in my transmission must be very tight in that area.

Huge difference from stock fluid. I flushed out the Amsoil because it is not recommended by Amsoil. I'm an Amsoil dealer and I chose to swap to BG because after speaking to Amsoil themselves they advised I did not use their oil in the transmission. There are Ford dealers out there using BG and that was good enough for me.
Can this be purchased and installed by a ford dealership service dept? Will it void the transmission warranty??

I worried the same, but still put it in. It's well worth it. But, to ease this fear, i got a clean seal-able container and put the old trans fluid in there. I keep it labeled in the garage in a cabinet. The trans blows up and needs warranty work, i still have the stock fluid. Easy peasy

Check and See if your Ford Dealership doesn't already sell BG Products. It will not void any warranty. If a dealership actually spent the time and money to take an oil sample it would just come back as really good oil.

If you changed the fluid back to stock after a failure it would likely red flag something is sketchy.

Please understand Ford and GM have a very long working relationship with BG. Most people probably don't even realize they are getting BG products put in their car by Ford and GM dealers.
