Threw mine in yesterday and have put about 50 miles on it since. Super impressed with dead cold shifting in the morning, and with it hot after beating on it. Bigger improvement than the amsoil or RP I tried before.

Threw in the diff fluid too and I just love how dummy proof the kit is. Perfect amount of fluid for each.

my opinion Amsoil Syncromesh Vs. BG Syncro shift II

I'd like to start by saying i was very Skeptical of this fluid first because in my 2011 GT i tried almost every fluid i could get my hands on including Royal Purple, Mobile one, red line MT80, MT90 and finally Amsoil. Amsoil definitely was the best feeling for me. The MT 80 made it worse on cold mornings and the MT90 made it feel worse all the time..Very notchy. So when i saw this post i didn't think this BG fluid at 75W-80 would be any better than my Amsoil at 5W-30. But when i think thicker fluid i n a manual trans i do think "more protection" to a certain extent. I drained my Amsoil out and let it sit for 2 hours waiting on the delivery man to get there with the BG fluid and assure all Amsoil i could get out was out. i did not get the cup with mine but no worries i did have a red solo cup and just eyeballed where the tapeline went. I would also like to say i asked for the fluid only, this is why i think i didn't get the cup. So i pumped in the 2.7 quarts, took the car off the jack stands and went for a drive. I felt about the same as Amsoil to me. Which is strange to me because it is so much thicker than Amsoil fluid. so i have driven on this fluid for a week mix of in the city and hwy. thoughts on cold shifting (here its only getting down in the 50's now in the AM) it's about the same as Amsoil was, it is still notchy the first shift or two into 2nd and sometimes 3rd. On the warmed up shifting (after about 5 to 7 miles, Amazingly same time Amsoil took to warm up and shift smooth considering BG's thicker viscosity) the shifts are smooth as butter. I would say it may feel a little smoother than Amsoil when warm. So my end thought on the product is if you are running Amsoil and have the money to but this fluid it is worth it. It is at its worst the Same and Amsoil shift feel but it is thicker and to me that means more protection for my transmission. I will not be putting my Amsoil fluid i saved back in. BG is a great transfluid and to me the fact that they can have suck a thick fluid and it makes the trans feel the same as a thinner fluid speaks alot about the quality of the product. Like i said i have tried thinker fluids in an MT82 and it made it worse, but this BG fluid gives me a thinker fluid and smoother shifts. Great job!:headbang:

Knight5.0 We are happy you experienced an improvement. On the subject of Engine oilclassifications used in transmissions to compare to gear oils I have attached a chart to help explain. I do not understand why some manufacturers still use a non-gear oil classification to rate a transmission fluid. It just adds to the confusion in the market place.

I would suggest if you have removed the clutch spring, you bleed the hydraulic circuit. You shouldn't have pedal play.

the clutch in this car is self bleeding. Even when you change the clutch fluid line all you have to do to bleed it is pump the clutch an bunch of times.

Not entirely accurate, but I'm not saying your method does not work. They want you to pull a vacuum on it first. And the pedal needs to be up all the way, this effects the stroke of the T/O bearing when you shift.

having been through a much shittier transmission in my 3.8 Genesis and trying all the Amsoil, Royal Purple and having the dealer repeatedly tell me it's fine, I'm skeptical on fluids as a magic bullet. In that car best thing we did for shift quality and driveability was to use ATF in them.

Anybody have a link to this?
It was already mentioned like 15 posts back. All you have to do is send Optimum Performance a PM and they will take care of you with the details.

Yeah, somehow I missed that. Optimum Performance just sent me a PM though with links for info and how to purchase. Apparently their site is undergoing maintenance.

My car was just delivered a few days ago. I think I'm going to give this stuff a shot.
