I have a 2019 GT and i currently have lth, cai, catback, and an e85 tune. I’m debating between getting my stock manifold ported or buying a ported boss 302 manifold. which would provide better higher end power and acceleration like better times from a rolling start. and who should i have port the manifold/who do i buy the boss 302 from.

Forget all about porting or boss.
Go straight to the Gen4 dual TB manifold and Wengerd it.

How high do you plan on spinning the motor? The Boss likes to live in the high rpm range. You probably won’t see the max benefit of a port job unless you add cams or boost. I was going to do this a few years ago and reached out to Wilson Manifolds. Here is their response to me:
You can send us your manifold and we can port it for $550.00. You can expect 10-15HP on a ported composite manifold. We offer a Gen 3 Coyote as well.

burn up a stack of Benjamin Franklins
You'll be burning Benjamins alright.
It's not by a long shot "a simple bolt-on" .

I think Wengerd has it as a kit.
Beats the expense of cams and wacked out speed density calibration.

Cams are not needed.
As I’ve posted for years the Gen3 manifold TB aperture is the choke. KellTrac proved it with Draggy, Ford proved it with the GT350 manifold 5.0 Bullitt / Mach1 and Wengerd absolutely proved it with his Gen 4 manifold conversion.
If you’re going to burn up a stack of Benjamin Franklins start considering Wengerd dual TB offering.

Interesting, 2 horsepower gain and it moved the peak quite a bit higher. I think one of the reasons why Ford added this is to meet EPA regulations re: evap emissions, perhaps they needed more carbon traps

I plan on running to around 8k rpm and i will be supercharging the car eventually with an ESS G3 kit.

Have you considered a Holley Lo Ram or High Ram manifold since you’ll be adding boost and turning 8K rpm? They come in natural cast aluminum and black powder coat and also include new fuel rails.

Centri = stock Gen3 manifold.
In the interest of student economics porting is a waste of money if going centrifugal SC. If you’re hell bent on porting go with Bret Barber @ AFS
