If I were to spend $1000 on a set of tires and wheels what would be my best option?

Go with some cheap amr wheels and decent summer tires?

Score a set of PP1 wheels take offs?

How about getting a set of used wheels from someone on this forum?

Would it be better to just get some 19s and Continental DWS 06 and spend extra?

I’m not in love with the PP1 wheels but my base 17s really are not sporty enough for what I’d like.

I think buying take offs would be the best bet to be at or under $1000.

For a while oewheels was a great source for cheap 19x10s but it seems thier stock has since been discontinued and prices gone up.

I've been looking for new wheels for a while now and it seems I'll be spending at least $1600 for a new set.

With that budget in mind, definitely take offs. Mine was about $14-1500 all said and done I believe. That was the wheels, tires, sensors, and mount/balance.

Look here. But it's hard to get stuff for 1g only. You should look to buy second hand to stay in your price range or go with a set off 19inch takeoffs from the link I gave you. Personally I want some 19x10 SVEs to replace my 18x10 black chrome set. You can also find FR500s pretty cheap to out there.

Just saw another thread where someone bought some sve gt350s for 775, during Black Friday and some conti dws for around 500. That seems like a re
What’s your thought on the pp1 wheels?

I love the s350 and pp2 wheels by them.

I like the PP1 wheels but they aren't my favorite so I personally want to go with a 5 or 7 spoke design akin to the GT350 in gunmetal or charcoal. Those colors look good on my silver. Course I am not in a rush since I am living overseas and dont even have my ride with me.

The SVE wheels are great value. Much lighter than OEM. Hard to get to your budget without a sale, though. I scored some Shelby knockoff wheels on Black Friday from AM.

The bad thing about 19" wheels is the price for tires. I went with 20" and saved about $600 on the tires alone. 52486507_2158345784185534_5727504022118596608_n.jpg
