My review of the delivery process and product delivered. I chose to bid on the weekly performance pack staggered tire and wheel package they typically market as take offs consisting of Michelin pilot sport 3+. 255/40/19 & 275/40/19. Depending on the week these can be picked up for slightly north of $1K. Not all the listings are for the tire combo that I bid on.
I have ordered in the past from Shelby and as with then the packaging was professional each wheel in a box with the face double layer protected, wrapped in plastic with the remaining box filled with foam.
Again they are marketed as takeoffs but they are not, the wheels have never been mounted on a car. The mounting holes are virgins, same for the tires, still have intact labeling . The wheels I received are made in the USA not china.
One of the pieces of cardboard used to protect the wheel is from the original packaging from Ford performance.
The origins of these wheels are (2) M1007M1995B for the rear and (2) M1007M199B for the front from Ford performance my guess? The wheels are matte black but without the Ford performance center caps but with the pony. The born on date for the tires is late 2016 not a deal breaker for my use but some may want to give that thought. The tires are balanced and also came with tpms. Included also was Ford M-1180-B tpms sensor and tool kit.
While there are other countless options for new shoes this is for those questioning if this is right for them, hope it helps.
