Best tires for drag wheels

Are there any bias ply tires in that size that are dot approved? I am not a fan of changing tires at the track.

Not that I know in 17". The 17" E.T. street as been discontinued even do they are listed on their website. They were not even close to performs like bias ply from M&H or Hoosier.

I don't know of any bias ply in 17's, especially DOT. If you can find a 16" wheel then there are some options there and I believe a 16 will fit over the rear brakes.

That M/T 3572 looks like it will be a great tire. Im looking at that or the 28" tall M&H 17" Radial.
