Update ... The new M/T 305/45/17R didn't work all that good .. I did get one 1.51 by coming out at idle then going 1/2 throttle and then ease into full throttle ..Still spun on that 1.51.. Got 5 passes on them Friday night with most of them being in the 1.77 60 zone spinning hard First and second gear .. Wishing now I would have got slicks ..

started at 18 and worked down to 16 ...Run out of time to try 15 .. truly I don't think anything will work at showtime , we only had 10 cars last night and only two of them had race tires ..I'm 100% sure they will work fine at BMP.. They know how to prep a track ..

With the M/T ( when new ) I was 1.50 60 footing leaving at idle ( automatic car with 3.55s) Now that they are worn out I have hell getting a 1.60 60 footer ... Had two 1.70s tonight .. I'm thinking of maybe going with a 17 inch hooser slick... Just a little worried about mixing radials and bias tires ..:shrug: I have done it before on my roadrunner with no problem but still a little worried about doing it on the Mustang ..

I'm thinking the same thing about mixing the bias slicks and radials . I see people running them though
