The price difference in the H pipes you see has to do with the quality/coating of the pipe itself. As others said, pipe made to look like an H can't really be improved upon..lol

I did this as well, loved the sound but wanted just a bit more. Added the Ford Racing Touring, just what I was looking for.First mod I did last year! Best money spent so far! Love the deeper sound from the H-Pipe and zero drone at any RPM !!
It was very loud, probably more than twice as loud as just the axle backIs the H pipe w/ Roush AB much louder cold start than just Roush AB? I feel I'm probably at upper limit of what my roommates will allow me get away with with stock resonator.
lol thats the issue with Roush, they sound great but only when they are used in conjuction with a otherwise 100% stock exhaust, as you found out, if you change anything else in the system........awful sounds :doh:Just throwing in my 2 cents, I had the cj h pipe on my car with the roush AB and it sounded awful, horrible rasp and sounded like a diesel truck at idle. I put the stock resonator back on it. Maybe keep your x pipe and throw on some trait through resonators to tone it down a bit?
