since i already have a lund tune with stock airbox... what improvement would i see with getting this CAI and will it require a updated tune?
Close to 20whp max gains and about 2mph in the quarter mile. Updated tune for MAF transfer if you get the tune required one. If you get the no tune required one you can use your existing tune.

our lund tune along with a jlt or pmas is really the way to go

let me know what we can do to help

Any preference between the 2 intakes? I am sort of leaning JLT just because I like the painted look. Although it doesnt look like they offer magnetic.

If you purchase the "No Tune" version of the intake, you will not need any tune updates. You should be able to see 15-20 rwhp over the stock air box on the same tune (I picked up 1.5 MPH at the track with this config over the stock air box). To save $100, I would go with the "Tune Required" version and request a tune update from Lund.

Gt350 manifold, pmas Cai and a Lund tune. I know I don't currently have a stang but I have read enough threads and posts to know this is the best route for the highest gains.

Too many variables to just post a number, however Lund is the popular tuner here, also many posts show little to no gains with most cai's however the pmas has been shown to have about 10 to 15 hp gains over the stock intake and shaves about 2 tenths off 1/4 mile times.

Well i understand air temp, humidity what not but average numbers on a stock vehicle would work. Need something to decide if its worth potentially voiding my warranty.

Wow what a difference! I tested my quarter mile with the track app before I installed the cai. All stock ran 13.40@107 slightly spinning in 1st gear. The mph is the same as other automatics with 3.55s. Then I installed the cai and drove a couple of days so the computer could relearn itself. Day 2 i tested it and it ran a 13.00@111 spinning t
Best Regards,

you could always do the lund tune , with the no tune intake

and then you could put back to stock if you need to go to dealer

I was actually thinking of this route with the Ford Racing PP1 warranty friendly tune. But 13 crank hp just kinda blaa. So say if Lund plus no tune pmas unit puts me at 30-40whp, ill kiss my 3/36k goodbye.

Haha, I don't even know why I am hesitating. I gamble on damn near anything that involves money so I am embarrasing myself here.

Just do it, and then do some more mods. There are vendors that would just LOVE to help you out there. *wink wink*
