Anyone have any experience with the JLT intake and a custom tune supplied by them? Trying to decide if I want to run a tune by them, or go with bama or Lund. Input?

I'm on the JLT intake with a flex fuel tune from Bama. The secret with any mail order tune as far as I can tell is the data logging. If you don't want to do that, best bet would be a local tune shop probably.

I had the JLT and their canned tune on the X4. I don't see the point in paying for a custom tune on a relatively stock car. I don't know a custom tune will really get that much more for the money.

I felt the difference with their tune / CAI on the butt dyno. I never had it on a dyno before/after.

Only reason I'm asking isn't for max power, i just want a safe tune that isn't going to lean the car out or knock and damage the ring lands. Coming from a Subaru I know all too much about ringland issues lol
