Beeping when I turn off the car.

Hello, I just purchased a 2016 GT350, and sometimes it beeps once or twice when I turn off the car. The beep is coming from outside. I think it’s in the back of the car. I can’t find anything on this online so I figured I would ask here. Thanks in advance.

I bought it used, but I don’t think it has an aftermarket alarm. I’ll take a look for that though. Thanks for the suggestion.

I will take a video when I come home from work today. It doesn’t beep every time either. Mainly after a longer drive like to and from work. I also noticed it makes some other mechanical noises when I turn the engine off. I’m going to stop by Ford during lunch to report the issue as well.

I think that may be the fuel pump.

It’s the exhaust butterfly valves closing. They all do that.

Exhaust valves for sure. The car will make the same sound before it starts as its always set to start with the valves closed. Get in the car and leave the door open. Depress the clutch to the floor and do not hit start. You'll hear the same sound
