Well, the IM and TB have been delayed til tomorrow, but at least the RTR Grille Set showed up. Snapped together like Lego's.

I’m not trying to spend your money, lol, but I thought I’d mention them since your bumper was off at the moment. If you do order them, let me know what you think of the quality and install.

I think making a template, and flipping it from the left side to right to ensure that the holes drilled are in the exact same spot on both sides is the way to go here. No eyeballing or guessing at it, as it’s a one shot deal to get them right. I’ve seen pics of some cars with them and the bumper’s character lines don’t line up with the fender (usually off by an 1/8”).

Dude, it's a cool way to spend money and I have a policy that if I remove something, I have to put it back better than I found it. It's an expensive policy....

Not a bad idea. I'm digging into the research....

I completely understand, as I have a similar policy.

Another video.

Thanks for the video, gives me a couple ideas. I have the stud blocks instead of the chootchy clips, so will take a closer look at my car tomorrow.

Also, @WildHorse, I got a little more work done on the air inlet baffling today. I know you have the fender mount set up now, but I'll post up a few pics tomorrow that you might find helpful for the IAT cause. It's totally an experiment at this point, but maybe there's something to it....the approach works well under the airplane cowling.

Ok, the Ported Intake, Throttle Body, and Adapter arrived today. Didn't take long to unbox, inspect and prep everything to get the top of the engine back together. I like that Air Flow Solutions throws snacks in the box; the Animal Crackers and Oreo's came at a good time.

The porting job on the intake, TB and adapter are top notch. As for the heat shield on the bottom of the intake, it can be a bit of a challenge if one doesn't prep accordingly. Although the intake is brand new, I cleaned it with a clean shop rag sprayed with brake cleaner and then preheated the application area with a heat gun.

The greater challenge is removing the backing from the shields without destroying the sticky material attached to the shield. And once it's stuck, it's stuck....no going back. Once the shield was on, everything else was just nuts and bolts. Within about 90 minutes after the FedEx guy drove away, the engine bay was complete. The tune is loaded, battery is charging and I'll get coolant in it tomorrow for the first fire up. Standby for the video, it's gonna be loud.

Looks great! Standing by for the startup video.
Thanks!! I'll pull a vacuum on the cooling system tomorrow morning and get the coolant in it. Gonna leave it on the lift for fire up so I can get underneath and leak check/inspect everything at idle.
