My dilemma is that a friend of mine has a set of bbk tuned shorties for a 15-17 mustang gt that he never installed due to selling the car and he will sell them to me dirt cheap however will they fit the 20. What differences are there in the headers because I see the jba shorties listed for 15-20 but don't see why the others wouldn't work. But hate to cut apart my stock stuff without knowing. So if anyone knows I would appreciate it. I'm not interested in the debates be tween if they are worth it or not just curious as to why they may or may not fit.

They will fit but don’t waste your money. They will not do anything unless you are just trying to go catless

I would definitely pass on the shorties personally. I assume you're trying to keep it at a certain price point, which if that is the case, we have Texas Speed's and Stainless Power headers that are priced very aggressively and actually make power. If you would like to go over a couple of options we offer, feel free to shoot me a PM anytime, I'm always around to help. Lethalperformance.com

The whole reason I was interested was because he was practically giving them to me at 100$ but I don't need then as is and definitely don't want long tubes. I've spoke withthe manufacture finally aswell and they say it won't fit but couldn't give me a reason and I don't want to end up doing all the work to find out they won't fit so I'm just going to leave as is.

Need to watch some clearances under the hood. They would bolt up but push into the steering shaft or something like that. Even BBK long tubes, check their page, they say for 2018+ check the box to confirm it’s the part number that will fit.

Even if it’s only $100 the install is awful and shorties require cutting and welding to the factory cat hookup
