BBK Longtubes

yes i did install and the fit and quality was perfect. i am running it with a diablo can tune right now and stock air box. so we are tuning the car tomorrow. as it sits right now by running a buddies car its around 430rwhp so the power is definitly their for not being tuned for them yet.BBK does not have the mid pipe yet so i welded it to the lethal delete kit and looks really nice hats off to the installer. Still have the factory mufflers and i think i am leaving them on. No drone and sounds alot like the old mustangs did with headers and flowmasters. I am terrible at computers so maybe i can find a friend to down load the pictures for me. LOL i just know how to check my email and get on the internet. For the money i would buy them again without thinking twice.

Great info man. Thanks for the brief review! Makes me awfully tempted. I wonder how loud it'll be with my Gibson setup tho? Drone? Hmmm

Also which size and coating is preferred for an N/A setup? I'm torn between the ceramic and stainless. For some dumb reason the 1 7/8 is not offered in stainless.

I picked up a set of BBK LTH a few months back. I've used BBK on every mustang I've ever built and always liked them. I called a few times since April about the mid-pipe and have been told "about 2 weeks" every time since then. I got impatient and am just having the Gibson 3" Xpipe that I currently have modified to fit instead.

Dude. I have the same setup (Gibson) and would REALLY like some vids and reviews from you before i pull the trigger. I am afraid the drone will be insane. That's the only thing holding me back right now. Did you go with stainless?

I suppose if the drone is bad, or even if it's too loud, i could weld in some Dynomax bullets. :shrug:

I may just custom fab a pipe in there. That, or order some Dynomax Bullet resonators to go in place.

I had to go with the chrome. I wanted stainless, but unfortunately I'm building on a budget man. I'm trying to install them this weekend. Once I finish it's going on the dyno. I'll keep you posted on all of it!

Chrome $549 vs Stainless $799. I've used chrome BBK long tubes on my last two builds (foxbody 5.0s) and had no issues with them

Good to know man. Are you going to fab some custom mid pipes? Please post up a video and some dyno numbers when you get them. Which tuner are you going with?
