Battery access for GTPP

Has anyone exposed the battery on a GT yet? I may need to give someone a jump later and I know the battery is hidden by the firewall on the passenger side, but I'm looking at engine bay pics and the removal procedure of the plastic covers don't seem apparent to me.

The manual doesn't say anything about it.

There should be terminals you can access without removing the battery.

There are plastic screws you remove to get access to the battery. If you go checkout the video posted for installing the hood actuators you can see exactly where the battery is.

It's very simple. It is located right by the passenger side hood hinge. As mentioned, there are three thumb screws and the cover comes right off. There are a couple tabs sticking out along the rear edge that slip back into a pair of slots. Just make sure you align them up when putting the cover back on.

it was very simple, thanks guys.

oh and it was just held on with one screw, closest to the fender. the other 2 screws were there but the cover was just sitting on top of them.

i put it back the same way. i suppose you can use all 3 but it doesnt look like it's necessary.
