Anyone have any luck using the accessory port adapter for the battery tender? Mine works for about an hour and then it seems the mustang is turning off the port, since the battery stops charging. Any way to keep that power port active so it can keep charging?

Thanks,
Peter

Edits: original post also had questions about battery tender ring terminals, which were answered in this thread: http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=40268

Like the cigarette lighter port? No. These ports turn off so the connection is broken.
You need a direct connection to the battery either at the fuse box or right on the battery.

actually its super easy to hardwire the Battery Tender connector and just leave it under hood when not in use. that is what i do with no issues. quick search should dig up threads on it.
