I'm curious on how the base Whipple Kit with their tune is doing as a Daily. Any over heating or issues that can be fixed by upgrading some parts. Thanks in advance.

You shouldn't have any issues with Over heating. We have another install of a stage 1 and stage 2 coming in the next 2 weeks and finishing one up today

Hit me up work Amy questions

I have had mine installed since January and put over 10k miles on mine. I did not upgrade the fans because I don't need to drive it if its smoking hot outside. However, drove it in 95 degree heat (stop and go traffic) all last week and it was perfect with some stage 2 upgrades, etc.

I have the stage 2 with whipple calibration and have been driving it daily for the past week with no issues. Put 4 tanks of gas through it in a week because I'm having a blast!! Lol It's also been 105+ all week here and supposed to be the same all this week.

We have done quite a few Whipple installs on the S550 since the release about 17 months ago, WITHOUT ISSUE! Not only for our private customer's DD's either. We have had several vendors send us their Coyote vehicles for us to install/tune and even sometimes fix and tune their Whipple installs!

Here are a few examples!

We installed a stage 1 onto our own 2015 last year and have installed 30+ of these Whipples on the S550. You will have absolutely no problems!!

Whipple has that tune locked in and you won't have any issues with the drivability what so ever! We have customers with the Stage 1 and DD here in Florida and have no issues with over heating or anything. Shoot me a PM if you are looking for any pricing on these kits!

When the Whipple is installed, Does the OEM PP strut tower brace have to go?

I saw one on a WW 50 year special edition car that was for sale on Facebook a few weeks ago. The brace was painted white to match the car and it was trimmed to match the shape of the top of the blower as it went over it. I do not know if the engine was lowered at all but it looked nice. It was trimmed in such a way only the 1/8" steel that makes up the flat top was left to cross the blower.

I should have snapped a picture........ :frusty:

Are the PP fans (which apparently are bigger) sufficient? Never seen that question answered.
