basic suspension questions

hey guys,

i currently have a 2015 ecoboost performance pack with a few mods, no suspension stuff yet. i was planning on getting 20" wheels eventually and my question is i plan on going coilovers but is there any brand you recommend ?
also i feel like an idiot asking this and i could google it but in laymans terms what does it do, i would like my wheels and ride height to be flush and aesthetically pleasing!

if there are any other recommendations for a suspension set up and other parts besides shocks struts and springs i may need.

yeah lol i bought my access port thru cobb surgeline... great response but its easier to put a thread up and hear from people who has the suspension parts on therte i was as a reference. also i dont wanna have to call them with a list of questions when i wont be buy any parts that day lol.
