It wasn't until I swapped wheels in my garage that I really noticed it. The new ones I had to put on were flow-formed and only 24lbs. The PP wheels were a joke by comparison.

I saved 10lbs per corner with wider tires. Always an awesome upgrade. Went with TSW Bathurst in 18x9.5 with 265/45 Goodyears. Was my first mod on this car.

+1 on this, especially for the tires. I did most of the power mods first and it actually made the car less fun to drive, because I had to constantly watch the throttle to avoid traction issues with the crappy OEM P-Zeros.
Totally agree - tires don't get enough love as an upgrade.

Suspension, brakes and tires should be the first upgrade, especially if you eventually intend power upgrades as well. Improved vehicle handling makes the car safer and more fun to drive, and when you do eventually up the power the car will be properly configured to handle it safely.
