I don't think you know the history of the Mustang. That may be your definition of a what a Mustang should be, but that is not why the Mustang was designed. The majority of Mustang owners would disagree with you. You do what you want with your car and don't be limited by what other people think. If you prefer the base, buy a base. If you want a premium, buy a premium.The Mustsng GT,,,,,,it is a modern Muscle-car(a pony car). It's not a luxury coup/sedan. It was never meant to have adaptive cruise, cross traffic monitor, and all the driving nannies. I truly believe that is most of the QC problems ford is going through. Buyers believed they were buying a luxury automobile and it's not. Mustangs are ment to be a little rough around the edges, they were made to get in shut up and have fun! Go base All day long.
