I find it funny that the base mustang guys wish they had rear valence/diffuser options like the premium guys. But I'm a guy with a premium who wants these diffuser fins but all the ones i've seen are on base cars lol.
My car premium car recently came out of the body shop from a little backup boo-boo, so I had them paint my diffuser gloss black, to match the trunk panel. I like extra diffuser fins and now I'm wondering how the repair might have been complicated with a base bumper.

For me it's not so much that I want a diffuser...it's more about my car being triple yellow and the rear end just looks silly being all yellow and in your face. Ive been planning to dip/paint the rear for some time now, but I live in Wisconsin and the car is daily driven. So now I'm just waiting for spring.

These fins were a chance thing having stumbled across this thread. They're a total bonus for me and will help my project along even further.
Same here. The "look at me" yellow diffuser is like a soiled panty shield on a yellow car. When I surprised my GF with the new black painted one she was pissed! (No pun intended.) But she new gets my BecauseRaceCar approach.

Anyway, fordguys550
Can you paint a gloss clear over flat paint to get me gloss?
Wondering how many shapes you tried during the R&D phase?
Yes or No on the black 3M double-stick?

If these fins came with Free Road Hazard Replacement Warranty, then I would have paid your earlier $160 asking price!

I havnt tried these fins on a premium bumper so i have no idea if they will fit. I can do gloss yes. Not sure many companys offer a road damage waranty on their cosmetic parts....

Im currently dealing with a blown clutch in a car with 5600 miles....so i need to deal with this first. Didnt start slipping, just took a shit when i downshifted to pass somebody. Yaay me. I hope ford fixes it, but ive heard they wont cover a clutch

Well since im cheap and bored, i decided to print my own diffuser fins to see how i liked them. I will get them mocked up tomorrow and let you guys comment on them. Im willing to listen to any suggestions and try anything out. If they turn out ok, they may be for sale...for way cheap!

Ya i know. This is just a mock. I wanted to see sizing and if i even like it before i go through the trouble of matching the curve

Ok let the comment roll. I think got the shape, but it may be small. Let me know what you guys think. Hell throw some drawings at me and if it winds up on my car you can have a free set!

Smaller is good IMO, I just think they should be longer up and down. The height of the fin is good, not rice looking - more European

It appears as though the premium diffuser actually has the angles reversed

Installed the outer fins from farmuh and I am very happy how they tied evrything together. Here are some pics. Let me know what you think. It was getting dark but you get the idea.
Great vanity plate. Haha, I get it.

So for those interested, ill be back from my work trip in a couple days and ill be able to get back to making some fins. Ive had a number of people contact me for a set over the last couole weeks. Ill go back to my PM's and start contacting you guys once i have a set for you. Might take me a couple weeks to catch up to the current demand.

Im also willing to make some carbon fiber fins for a extra $30. Paint is a extra $10. (On top of the $110 shipped price)
