So these wouldn't fit on a premium bumper then?

After reading a lot about the revised diffuser, and reading the most recent reviews on AM's own site, I decided to return mine. I had ordered it as soon as it came back into the market, but left it alone to see what everyone else thought. As I told AM, I am not confident in the product...

Lol that's gonna look great flying off your car on the highway when the double sided tape fails. AWESOME STUFF
If you clean off area and use adhesion solution from 3M small pieces like these will not fly off, I've had my diy versions on for over a year and have checked them, and they are solid to this day, so no they won't fly off even at high speeds.

Hey guys! I absolutely love these MMD rear diffuser fins... install was a complete breeze, and it REALLY transforms the look of our rear ends. For me, being a non-premium guy was really tough because to make it look decent I would have had to buy a new bumper, a diffuser, install and paint, well over a thousand dollars. These MMD rear diffuser fins really saved my bacon! I'll let the pictures speak for themselves...
Looks awesome, did you paint the area where the fins are? or is that black plastidip?

Definitely an option. Maybe someone can help me out here. I want to get the rear "diffuser" area finished in either matte black wrap or paint. Will the 3M tape be an issue with a layer of wrap underneath it?

Thx in advance.

I see the car in the pictures has the MMD Quarter Window Louvers. Any news on when those will be available again?

I do like the way these look. However, I'm very concerned about the longevity of the 3M adhesive since I drive mine year-round. It would see all the elements, and salt.

Other than that, they look awesome!

Use some blue masking tape .. measuring tape and mark the locations with a sharpie..and before you permanently put them on.use some masking tape to hold them on place ..use the sharpie for a outline ..then double check all your measurements..the ones I used are self tapping screws then have covers to conceal them.

These fins look exactly like the custom fins I have on my car that a guy on here was making.

Thanks for the love everyone! I'll make sure to tell everyone over at MMD!

These are sick, I keep seeing them on more and more S550's and love them.

As long as they are installed properly, you do not have to worry about longevity, they aren't going anywhere!

I really don't think you have to worry about this coming off that is a lot of double sided tape I've worked with that stuff before and you will need hair dryer and a lot of elbow grease to get them off if you applied them correctly with a clean surface alcohol swabs work well.
