Barton Hybrid 3 issues? 18 gt

Hey bud did you get a resolution?

I'm having the exact same issue, too the letter.

Only problem now is the 2nd gear (after clutch install) is completely bugged.

When the barton came out it had stripped and bent bolts.

Yeah bud, watch cj pony parts install video. There's adjustment, everything runs perfect for me now, so perfect i exploded 3rd lol... can rate the calimer stage 3 d4 if you find yourself needing one

Lol ok. The adjustment is left and right, correct? Did you have to move it to the left side slightly or right side?

My perf shop did it for me because i couldn't get the damn knob off, got them to do it with pre race checks...

Once you've got alignment right you'll be very happy

A mate has the MGW, imo its easier to adjust and get right, but i hate the shifter finish, prefer my pull up collar, and (now that it works) prefer how the barton feels in the shift.

Subjective opinions of course...

End of the day they're both crisp af

after a few tries what worked for me was the top hat flush with the shifter body on the drivers side.

I had one installed in my car 3 weeks ago. I have mine mounted on the trans. No issues at all so far. Did you have a speed shop do the install or just a regular mechanic or did you do it yourself?

Myself. Trans mounted as well. Alignment is easy. Takes probably 10 minutes or so. No need going under the car. Center console off and make the adjustment.
