If you're not familiar with Banks Power, they do a bit of work in the full-size trucks. For a year they've been skewering the piss-poor engineering behind the aftermarket differential covers. A few days ago they showed their new offering and if you're at SEMA they should have it on display.
I emailed them and asked if they would consider fashioning one for the Mustang since diff overheat is a very common problem that would benefit from some actual engineering being applied to the product as opposed to what Ford's best and brightest apparently can muster.
Sadly their response was "Unfortunately we do not have any plans at this time to develop diff covers for cars." If you'd like to see a passive $3-400 solution instead of jury-rigged remote pump+radiator solution costing $1000 to $1600, maybe you could send them a note expressing your interest?
