This thread looks like a sales pitch about to go wrong.

Lol no joke! I didn't realize it came off that way. I just love my setup and want the love to be shared!

People promote Lund because there are over a dozen of us running 11's with just a tune and tire (some have basic mods too) while Bama has one car doing it.
So if 100 people have Lund tunes (due to the Lund love of this forum) and 13 run 11s, that is 13%.

If 2 people have bama tunes and 1 runs 11s, that is 50%.

Bama has a higher % of cars in the 11s than Lund.

That's why this thread is stupid along with brand loyalty. Makes you blind.

I would definitely log it. They're good about tweaks it but check your AFR, as I had a v2 from them it was leaning out at redline. Considering how few Bama cars perform as they should I would say the jump is worth it, YMMV obviously.

...So you counted 100 people with Lund tunes or are you just throwing out erroneous data?

Considering I have had
1) Lund
2) AED
3) VMP
4) Bama

I would say I have no brand loyalty, more of performance and results loyalty.

I don't know why this thread would be stupid if i'm honestly running the same numbers as people with Lund tunes. I want to make the jump to the Ngauge, but I cant find a reason to due to performance. Then again i'm in the boat where, why do all these people have a lund to and love it so much, Lund must be doing something right. I honestly just want someone to come in here and give me some sort of an honest unbiased judgement on my times compared to Lund times and see if its just people fan boying lund or am i missing something Lund does that my bama tune doesnt that would be worth the jump over.

I like Lund for their customer service and they offered me a flex fuel tune for free during the X-mas season Hard to beat that price.

Auto: Go Lund without any question
Manual: AED or Lund, either will get you where you want to be.

I don't mean the OP is stupid, I mean threads that turn into what this one is turning into.

I'm Lund tuned and love it, I have an auto and the auto tuning is just awesome. I also run their latest FF tune that simply rocks and gives me the ability to switch fuels when I want to go to the track or play without reloading a tune. I'm using the SCT X4, not the ngauge. I specifically asked Jon II if I would get a better tune switching to the ngauge and he said no, just better logging capabilities and some other cool features, but the tune and performance will be the same.

All that being said, your car with the Bama tune runs strong! I would log it to make sure everything looks good and if they need to tweek things have them make adjustments. No need to switch if your happy.

Ofcourse if you wanted to go with a FF tune I'd switch to Lund. The ngauge is cool, but your can keep you SCT X4.

your not going to notice gobs of difference on a pretty much stock car with a tune from brand a to lund.

you can only squeeze out so much, especially in a manual car, and the car is going to give the timing it wants.

as you get higher and higher in the hp range, and especially with the auto is where you'll see the biggest differences.
