That's true, a few aftermarket parts on there. Who knows what was disconnected and maybe not reconnected properly. I don't think Ford is going to warranty that, and us talking about the situation here is going to seal the deal on that.
I know what you're saying but, it's no secret here that he installed headers.

Respectfully, I'm not saying a word about this while I work with my dealer and Ford. I am very fortune to have walked away.
We understand. Hopefully, everything will be resolved to your satisfaction. Glad you're Ok and sorry for the loss.

Good thing he wasn't hurt. If the car wasn't factory stock then Ford ain't touching it. No telling what the guys who installed the LT's did or did not do correctly. Plus the car hasn't been tested with LT's for track use to see if they would cause a heat issue with some other component in the car

I am glad to see people focusing on the safe part of this unfortunate experience. . that's the most important eh? That the driver or drivers are SAFE.

IMO, The last thing I would want to do is talk about someone else's car - i.e., that's THEIR car and what they do or did is THEIR business and not a public forum. Again my opinion.

I've been to many driving events and in the morning brief's there is a FULL DISCLOSURE not to take ANY PICTURES of accidents. I guess we can see why.

:(! So sorry, sincerely. I saw another member's Track Pack trans coolant line was a little loose. Please check them. For the owner, hope you can get another one somehow, and that the insurance is kind to you.
If you track or drive your car please check all connections. I posted a while back about a loose coolant line in the back shortly after delivery. I discovered a day after some highway driving at speed, When I went to drive her the next day is when I noticed the oil on the garage floor. Needles to say it was an easy fix but definitely double check. Remember humans are prone to making errors and this car is assembled by humans.
My next point, I do not believe this was caused by leaking oil alone. I had an engine oil dipstick pop out mid drive during a track session in my 350. the oil was hitting the cats and smoking pretty bad and no fire. However! by the looks of the picture it looks like electricity may have played a part....so! Glad you are ok ITLRUN!

I wouldn't be surprised if Ford builds profiles on everyone who has mods, or at the very least, starts gathering data on a members mods when something goes wrong.

Glad you're OK, and everything works out for you.

glad to hear that you got out without being hurt.

Based on limited availability and high pricing, did they total the car?

What actually happened? ( what kind of failure was it? how did it catch fire?)
