Long story short....my 2 week paint correction, PPF, ceramic and tint appointment turned into almost 6 weeks due to the installer being down 2 employees. The positive thing during those 6 weeks is that the weather was mostly crappy. I'm definitely happy with the end result. I ended up going 20% tint sides and rear with 70% on windshield. I'm glad I didn't go with the 35% I was considering. I'm pretty sure I would have been disappointed. Anyways....it has about 400 miles on it now. I opened it up a few times last night. WOW....it leaves you speechless and grinning ear to ear. Absolute monster!!

I’m waiting for my appointment for tint and PPF as well. How much of the car did you have filmed and how did it turn out?

I did the whole car. It really turned out great. Definitely worth the wait.

It's illegal here also but you see it everywhere. I've had my truck tinted for 10 years and haven't had any problems. Car gets a lot more attention but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

If you don’t mind me asking, how much did it run you for the whole car, and did they wrap all corners and edges?
Paint correction, full PPF, ceramic coating and window tint all the way around was 9k. They removed mirrors, headlights, door handles and all badging. They installed ppf and then put all of those things back on the car over top of the ppf. All edges are wrapped.

Man, I'm not feeling so bad now! I been waiting almost 3 weeks for mine. But the guy is solo. So I was prepared for it. I'm getting everything ppf'd but the rear fender and trunk. But I am doing the deck lid, spoiler, and black bits back there. Then full ceramic on car, wheels, and brake calipers. He actually called today. PPF was done but he didn't like how the hood turned out. Said PPF had a few imperfections. He didn't have enough in stock to re do it. So he had to order more. Now I'm waiting on that.

Then hopefully the ceramic and window tint. Glad to see your pics @Sparky75, I'm doing the same as you only 15% on sides and rear. But sticking with 70% on front. Your car looks good!

And yes @DemonGT it is illegal but nothing a 10 min trip to your eye doc can't fix. Window tint is necessary for you to help manage your issues/symptoms with your photosensitivity! 😉
It's very easy to get a script for tint. Saves the hassle with the po po and state inspections if you have them where you live as well! Well worth the office visit and co-pay!

And @Evolvd, you can expect 6-9k for full car ppf, ceramic, and tint depending on where you are located and installer.
I opted out of the rear bumper and trunk. But for paint correction, 3/4+ ppf, full ceramic, and tint I was at $5150.00. But I'm in little WV. Installers here aren't as high as big city installers. Just for kicks I priced a few places in Pittsburgh and it was 1500-2k higher for same set up.

Yeah my local area guys are saying 9000-9800 for JUST the PPF for full coverage. No tint, no paint correction, and no ceramic, just the film. It blows my mind, and I’m not near any big cities either!

Same in my neck of the wood too. $9,400 for full film coverage, $1,600 for ceramic, $650 for paint correction, $650 for full wheel & caliper ceramic = 1 kidney, 1 nut , 1 leg and 1/3 of a liver.

That's just ridiculous! Not sure where you are, but I'd shop around. Even if it meant driving several hours to drop off. That's the craziest price I've ever heard for just PPF!
For that price, they better have a TEAM of about 15 highly trained individuals where each person is assigned a specific panel/piece for the car and they have it back to you by end of day! Lmao!

I have mine in for ppf now; well known shop, xpel, full treatment, one week @ $6300.
I pick it up on Tuesday 18th. I was going to do the tint then also but didn't want the windows up for the next two days, because after I pick it up I go on a nice run of San Diego to Rapid City and back a few days later. Seeing OP's, I can't wait to see mine finished.

Same up in the panhandle, it’s ridiculous. I can drive one hour up to Dothan, AL and they are quoting me $5500 but all my local shops are in the $9K+ range.

Clear Pro shop, and they are about $350 higher than a few others, but I trust this shop. They have a couple of folks that spend a full day + just prepping the car. I forgot to bring my front splitter (still in factory plastic), "no problem, drop it off sometime; it's included." Can't wait to see the results.
