Well, I walked away from having a fun car mid 2018 after dealing with a frustrating Magnum swap on my 2015 GT - I needed stomach surgery, and just plain had too much on my plate.
i traded my Recaro equipped 2015 premium GT for a 2018 Escape SEL - it was the right car, at the right time. At that time, my credit was all banged up from medical bill - I was in very, very poor health from 2016-2018, and then I had much needed surgery in July of 2018.
In May of 2019, I traded my red 2018 Escape for a green 2019 Escape - for no reason other than 3% lower interest. One year into the green Escape, I was finally recovered from surgery, feeling better, but ultimately exhausted, burned out. Pandemic hit, and I was laid off, I spent six month at home, just relaxing.
i returned to work (Ford parts at a dealershi) in late September of 2020. I refinanced my escape a couple months ago, but the bank I refinanced with, required a bunch of title transfer work, which proved quite difficult due to Covid related DMV restrictions.
I was offered a ridiculous amount in trade for my escape, interest rates are still low, that, and the fact that I attended three funerals in 2021, and a total of five friends died last year, I figured, hey, why not just live in the now.
so here we are! I bought a 2021 Mustang GT in Carbonized Grey, with the only two options being a 10R80, a spare tire, and that is all! I really like it! They have really come a long way with these cars since my previous Mustang.
so far, I have added a Homelink visor, a K&N panel filter in the stock air box, a Ford Performance strut tower brace and cowl brace.
i bought a set of Steeda 555-8210 Progressive springs, simply because they were super cheap, new In the box - curious what people recommend as far as shocks go, to pair with these springs, should I keep the stock shocks? FRPP shocks? Koni adjustable? Some other shock?
anyway, it feels good to be back.
