Axle stuck. Won't come out.

Has anyone had trouble with removing an axle? I've changed hundreds in the last 20 years. This thing won't budge! Twisted in the center section maybe? Anyone else have this happen?

I did when I blew up my trac loc. I ended up pulling the pumpkin with the one axle shaft still attached. I just slid the whole thing out to one side with some help from a buddy. Once I had it out I could take it apart and remove the axle.

Are you using two pry bars placed opposite of each other?
I had trouble when using only one pry bar, but using two together easily did the trick.
