I was "lucky" trying to buy BMR IRS support brace CB762H from beefcakeracing.com. The issues started right from the beginning, but I was too optimistic for too long. Now I don't have neither the product nor my money, neither any response from Beefcakeracing.

I made the order on March 20. First issue - they sitewide 10% discount for all the products. Except mine because this item already has %5 discount automatically applied. Ok, not a big deal...

A day after I made the order they notified my that they don't process orders if billing address is different from the shipping one. But if I send them the payment through Zelle we can continue. Ok, not a big deal... I paid it in 2 days.

Then during 2 weeks I was checking the status of my order and it wasn't shipped. Even despite the fact that I notified them beforehand that I really need to receive it by Apr. 3. Their excuse all this time was that it's still being built at BMR factory. Though they offered me "help" - they can send it from another warehouse for $140 additional price.

What is extra-awful in this situation - their shipping policy:
Most orders are shipped within 1-2 business days.
Special Orders such as custom exhaust systems are built to order and can take 5-10 business days to ship.

So, I cancelled the order and surprise - they notify me that they will take 7% cancellation fee. The next couple of days I was trying to explain them that the issue is on their side because they aren't able to ship the order. They controvert it with the argument that they are able, but after it gets built on BMR factory. So, while other companies honestly place "out of stock" label Beefcakeracing claims they always have everything in stock, even what isn't produced yet.

So by now I'm left without the product and the refund. Their last message by today is that they can ship it in a day...

I don't know if all Beefcakeracing company does their business in this way or just one person that I was "lucky" to communicate with. I see their representative here @beefcake - hopefully we'll resolve this issue on public.

I know BMR has some production lag on parts here and there.

As far as Beefcake, I've used them a few times with great results.

Heck, last part I ordered was a Roush spoiler late one night last summer/fall. Terry(the owner) called me the next morning and explained a parts delay from Roush, asked if I wanted a refund or another product that could get to me faster if I needed it for a certain deadline. It was top notch customer service. Guy was on top of it, and actually called to resolve the sale immediately. I wasnt in a rush, so I waited and got it in the window of time Terry quoted. Overall, aces.

Looking at this.

First, on the address, We don't ship to alternate res address to protect the card holder. Too much fraud, especially in this industry. Protects the card holder and us. Most of the buying public has the bills come to their address. When it doesn't match, throws up a flag, that was handled with the Zelle.

As far as "in stock" we have no live inventory on the site. If i had 1 of every item listed on the site, i would have to have probably a billion dollars in inventory. Not realistic at all. Lots of items drop ship. I do keep about 1 million in inventory on hand which is more than 98% of people in the industry.

We ran our own sale on the site, no extra discounts from BMR and were taking the 10% our of our own pocket. We are direct with bmr so thats where our pricing comes from. So even on low margin products like this, we try to do something to help out the guys. If we don't have it, then it comes from bmr with the sale pricing.

If someone is in a rush, we can look at big distribution 3rd party warehouses, and if available, give the option to switch. If it makes sense we'll do it no charge, if it doesn't we'll collect the difference from the sale price. I can tell you this, on a $239 part, no one would have told you an extra $140 to swap to a 3rd party warehouse. Unless there was a next day shipping quote, would never have happened. That is just not true. 100% false.

BMR has been out of these for some time, they have actually been out of alot of product for some time. They got backed up in production, bought yet another company, and fell behind on many key items. Everyone in the country is in the same predicament.

Bmr just finished a batch of red in these, and I look, and my office offered you one of the 2 remaining red after all backorders were filled, to get one out to you vs the hammertone.

Those now of course are all gone, as many don't care about color, and we started notifiying customers that we had a couple of red left and you were given the first option for one of those. You did not respond. I told my people to hold one of the red for you for 3 hours, and then go down the list when their wasn't any response.

Cancellation charge covers the card fees associated with orders, we don't charge a surcharge on card orders like most businesses these days, but if you cancel we do. That said, you paid with zelle and had no card fee. You were refunded 100% in full. Your order shows it, and your store credit shows it.

Now, if you don't want on a store credit, we can send it back to zelle. But no one is holding your $ hostage.

This industry is not Amazon. These are customer performance parts. Some times its going to take time based on what the manufacturer is doing. I am not the biggest out there, but we are a decent size company, but there are bigger. But no one has these, because BMR hasn't built them...... There were customers that have been waitiing since January for these. I get you had your order in a week. But lots of people have been patient waiting on BMR.

Summitt Multi Billion $ company, out of stock.... American Muscle 300+ million $ company, out of stock... CJ Pone, $100 Million $ company..... Out of stock...... No one has stock beacuse the part doesn't exist right now.

However, red came in and we could have given you one of those, but they just came in yesterday and are sold out again now.

Were not perfect by any means, but we try to take care of customers and go out of the way. I mean i'm sitting on my pc at 8pm answering questions and helping people. This just isn't an amazon industry..

Order a kooks headers right now... 8--10 weeks... Order a whipple kit, some are 16-20 weeks right now.. Some things sell out. It happens.

Again, store credit is on your account, but you never have to have a store credit, we can always send back to the original payment method.

Just let me know.

had my suspension all torn up and needed the kelltrac studs for the irs. beefcake came through and got it shipped quickly for me. would use again so hope this is a one-off and able to find a resolution.
as mentioned, car parts are always a custom thing and I never expect amazon like shipping. nice when it happens but not always...

I had a feeling there had to be a mixup here. Beef has always been responsive and helpful to me. I bought my Suncoast 10r80 stuff from him and he has since answered any random question I had even when they expanded outside of the products I bought from him.

I totally agree that there are a lot of good cases since Beefcakeracing is a large company, though I'm sharing my particular experience which isn't good at all.

Thanks for all the writing. Currently I'm interested only to get the refund back to my Zelle account. I asked it a couple of times during the conversation with Beefcakeracing without a result yet.

well, I can guarantee you that is a fat finger. It would’ve been 280 not 380.

There’s no scenario what it would cost an extra 140

This has to be a troll or a joke lol? I’ve bought parts from hundreds of sites and Terry at beefcake has always been cheaper and had the best customer service of anyone ever. 99.9% of others here feel the same also.. He is one of the biggest vendors on this site. It sounds like you dealt with someone pretending to be beefcake racing or an employee that shouldn’t work there. This sounds so crazy that it doesnt make sense. Email Terry himself, He is the owner. I’m sure he will chime in and if this is all true he will make it right 100%..

we have nothing to do with missing parts when it comes to a Whipple kit.

We don’t send pictures to Whipple. We’re not involved in that process.

If something is missing in your kit, Whipple has a support ticket on their system

You open a support ticket on their website you put in the serial number for your supercharger and you let them know what parts are missing sometimes I’ll ask you for a bag number or something like that but it is 100% handled through Whipple

We’re always happy to send a message to our representative over there, but Whipple will tell us no matter what we send them. Customer needs to open a support ticket.

there’s one example where customer sent us a picture and we try to send it to Whipple

They tell us the same thing every single time customer used to open the support ticket on the website. You can see the response.

I’m happy to look into your order number. If you’re missing some parts will always send them an email if you want us to send them an email, but they’re going to tell us the same thing every time.

They haven’t order number I can look into anything that’s missing

The other thing I’ll say is this if anybody ever thinks that they’re not getting an answer that they need for one of the people in the office I take this very seriously

You’re always welcome to send me a demon here in my personal cell phone is out there for just about anybody to call

There’s no company of our size that offers that

that’s easily done for me. The reason the office would’ve issued you a store credit is because they do not have access to Zelle.

The Zelle payments go to my personal account then I have to transfer them to the corporate account

My gallery office handles all the day today as far as refunds. If she doesn’t have access to the Zelle account, she can refund cards she can refund PayPal. She can do store credit she can refund affirm.

For a Zelle refund, I have to manually transfer the money back to my personal account from the corporate account and then from there to Zelle it back to you

If you want to send an email with your Zelle information to the office and say that you spoke to me, and I said I would send you the Zelle payment. The girls will actually ask me to get involved and I can transfer it over not a big deal at all.

as I stated you were never charged the cancellation charge since it was Zelle payment there’s 100% stored credit on your account, but that can be moved off your account back to Zelle
