Thanks all. Yeah, I meant air recirculation. So, if it relies on temp. sensors, looks like there’s no room for adjusting it’s functionality for particular cases.
The car (2015 GT) automatically turns on the air recuperation for not understandable reasons, often when it's not actually needed. Does anybody have any info how this should work by design? I assume it depends on the ambient temperature, but not sure in what way...
As well it's interesting if...
I’ve tried this setup that I asked about, so sharing here the answer.
The tires fit excellent. The smallest gap between the coilover and the wheel is to the rim’s edge. Because 275 tire is narrower than the rim, the is no issue touching the coilover nuts. In my case the tire is Hankook Ventus...
Thanks. Currently the car is in stock height. I can get a little more vertical space by moving up the two upper nuts on the strut, that will preload the spring but will keep the ride height as is. If I lower the car, all the nuts move down which will limits the space. In that case spacers would...
I’m switching from factory 19/9 wheels to 20/10.5 ET35. The rims (Aodhan AFF7) fit perfectly with the coilovers (ISC N1), leaving couple of millimeters between the rim edge and the strut. I’d like to know beforehand if tires will fit well, taking into account the strut nuts at the level of tire...
Hi Junior. Curious if this silver finish is available for regular wheels? On Project 6GR site it looks like no, but only for more expensive forged wheels
To the author: it’s not so easy to unscrew the tube from the firewall. There’s little space to rotate a wrench and that bolt is really long. Took a lot of patience and fingers gymnastics for me.
In my case the sound quality is good. One issue that I encountered couple months later - the speakers in the doors got rusted from rear side. It’s because that area is accessible for draining water and Focal speakers are larger than the factory ones (at least the mids which are on top side of...
Can’t answer that. So far as I know in general, there is regular and AGM types of battery. If you’ve changed the type, you have to update config in the car (it’s not related specifically to Mustang)
What helps to reduce road noise - sound deadening of underwings (the plastic covers around front wheels). I’ve done it on my other car - the noise volume got reduced and became lower frequency
Thanks! They have the CV boot https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/ford,2015,mustang,5.0l+v8,3307633,drivetrain
as far as complete axle for almost the same price

Also I'm considering an aftermarket boot...
I have hard time searching for the CV boot (Ford part number FR3Z-3A331-D or TS-226). They are available in US but not in Mexico where I need them. So, interesting if there are any alternatives or aftermarket parts that will fit Mustang 2015 GT?
Maybe the question looks strange and I have too...
Yes, in this case the car displays message “press brakes to start engine”, the same as if I get into the car in parking mode. But after I press brakes it shows something like “transmission not in park mode”.
Actually if you (meaning anyone) get into this situation and don’t know what to do from...
Maybe a dumb question but I actually faced this issue. So, the engine turns off if I press start button while the car is driving. Then to start engine back I have to stop the car, move transmission to parking, press brakes and press start button. This procedure looks pretty unsafe to me...
Interesting experience! In my case I simply rely on delays put by the software based on entered distance to the speakers. Respect for doing this all on your side! :)
Thanks for the info regarding the pins. Helix amp looks solid! Did you use the crossovers with the DSP? In that case interesting if you set up anything specific regarding the crossovers? How I understand it, the crossovers affect phases, so with DSP we have to adjust timings to compensate that
