Average Track Length?

Hey Fellas -

What is the average track length you guys run on when you track you cars? The new track opening up near me is 2.4km (1.5miles). Was taken around today in a new Alfa Romero 4c.

1.5 miles is actually on the shorter side... I think minimum for a road course should be 2.0 miles. Obviously it also depends on where you're located. The closest to me is Homestead Miami Speedway's road course which is approx 2.2 miles and Palm Beach Int'l Raceway which is a tad over 2 miles but my clear cut favorite is Sebring which is 3.7 miles per lap. The first 2 combined can't touch Sebring.

Try The Ridge and Pacific Raceways both in WA. Pacific Raceways is cool, I have been to that track once. And The Ridge also looks good although I haven't been there and just seen the online vids... with almost 2.5miles per lap and cool elevation changes, I like their sector where you are "racing up into the clouds."

The Ridge and Pacific are my home tracks. Bossing, how did you find your way onto Pacific? The Ridge is a great track, so if you're ever up this way again it is a must. And both of these tracks are approximately 2.5 miles with a top speed for the 350 in the 140-150 range. I can't wait to try out these brakes!

I had a long business trip in Tacoma back in summer of 2012 and I drove my rental V6 Mustang there. It was fun and I really like the turns 3-4-5 uphill but fast winding climb. I'd love to go back one day and try both tracks this time around... most likely with a rental again though.

Laguna Seca is 2.238 miles long.
Sonoma is 2.52 miles long.
Thunderhill is 2.866 miles long, with a 5 mile course as well.

Only one track anywhere near me, 1.8 miles, 11 turns, very tight.
Even the back straights not straight LOL.
110 mph would be fast on Back straight. couple of very fast runs,
hard braking zones and wicked elevation changes.
Hope to have some video this summer

Spa is a really great track too. It´s very demanding also but nothing beats the Green Hell. Can´t wait to see the faces of porsche and BMW drivers when the GT350 annihilates them

My home tracks Palmer Motorsports Park 2.3 mi., Thompson Speedway 1.7 mi., Lime Rock Park 1.5 mi.
